The only constraint is that, in a civil marriage, you cannot use the full marriage rites of a particular religion and make it appear that it is a ceremony sanctioned by that particular religion. |

You can include prayers, blessings and cultural religious elements into your ceremony, provided your celebrant is comfortable to perform these. Or you can ask a special family member or friend to perform these parts of the ceremony.
